Classes

The price of all classes include glass, use of tools, supplies, instruction and kiln time

Introduction to fusing: This class takes involves three sessions of two hours, a week apart. The student will learn: how to cut glass, shop safety, glass compatibility, types of glass, different types of fusing, putting a project together and knowing the kiln. The student will make five projects: three coasters, one small plate and one larger plate. Cost $100

Flow Bowl: two hour session. In this class students will learn about the movement of glass in the kiln and how glass when melted will move to certain thickness, how to control the thickness of glass and what happens to colored glass as it moves. Students will complete an eight inch flow bowl. Cost $75

Jewelry Class: One hour Session. In this class the student will design and make a necklace and a pair of earrings, or two necklaces. Cost $40

Stand Alone Scene: Two hour Session. In this class In this class the student a snow, mountain or flower scene which is curved in such a way it will stand alone without a stand. Cost $50

Woven Bowl: Three, 0ne Hour Sessions. Session one involves cutting strips of glass and bending them in the kiln. Session two involves weaving strips to fuse in kiln. Session three involves student cutting or sawing piece into bowl shape to be slumped. Cost $125

Coral Bowl: Two hour session. Student will cut strips and place them in the kiln to be fused. After fusing the project will be slumped in a bowl mold. Cost $30

Quilt Pattern Plate: Two or Three hour Session. Student will select a quilt pattern, draw a template, select and cut glass and assemble pieces for kiln. Cost $10

Votive Candle Holder: One Hour Session. Student will cut square or circle of glass and place in kiln on a form to be slumped. Cost: $25

Christmas Ornament: One hour Session. Student will select mold and chose color of frit and organize frit in mold and place in kiln. Cost: $25
